November 2026 Store Update – New Additions, Black Friday & What's Ahead

Hello everyone!

As we head into November, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has continued supporting CRG Games. October was another busy month, and I've been working on several changes and additions that I hope will make shopping with us even better.

There's quite a bit planned for November, including new inventory, changes to purchasing options, our upcoming Black Friday sale, and the final drawing for October's giveaway.

Here's what you can expect.

October Giveaway – Final Drawing November 6th

First, an update on the October giveaway.

The final drawing will take place on November 6th, 2026.

I've set aside a few days following the end of October to review all qualifying orders and free submissions. I want to make sure every eligible entry is accounted for and that nobody gets overlooked.

Once the entries have been verified and the drawing is completed, the results will be posted on the CRG Games website and announced by email.

Thank you to everyone who participated! I appreciate the interest and support, and I look forward to announcing the results.

Expanding Our Booster Pack Selection

One of my primary goals for November is to significantly expand the selection of booster packs available in the store.

I've been actively sourcing additional inventory, in particular sets and variants I don’t currently have. I also want to improve availability across the existing selection, especially for products that have been difficult to keep in stock. (Looking at you Final Fantasy)

As many of you know, CRG Games was built around offering individual sealed booster packs from as many different Magic sets as possible. That remains the focus, and I intend to continue building on it.

A reminder: I also purchase sealed booster boxes.

If you have sealed Magic: The Gathering booster boxes you're interested in selling, please feel free to contact me. I'm always looking for opportunities to add inventory, whether it's older sets, more recent releases, or products that are becoming harder to find.

November should be a particularly active month for additions, so be sure to check the store regularly to see what's new.

Black Friday – A Special Sale Is Coming

Full details, including the discounts and promotion dates, will be announced as we get closer to Black Friday.

Testing New Purchase Options and Quantity Discounts

Throughout November, I'll also be experimenting with some new purchasing options designed to make buying multiple booster packs more affordable.

One of the things I've been considering is how to better accommodate customers who want to purchase several packs of the same set, whether for drafting, collecting, or opening.

The new options will introduce quantity-based discounts, allowing customers to save when purchasing larger quantities of eligible booster packs.

This will be a trial throughout November. I'll be monitoring how customers use these options, gathering feedback, and making adjustments where necessary.

My goal is to provide better value on larger purchases while maintaining the flexibility to buy individual packs.

If the new structure works well, it may become a permanent part of the store.

My Take – Edge continues to be hot and likely always will be. It was awesome but short lived unfortunately. Final Fantasy is another crowd favorite and lower cost supply is drying up. Midnight Hunt was a bit of a surprise to me but I was reminded that it’s October and werewolves and vampires are in. Duskmourn may follow that same logic. I personally never connected those two points but the numbers don’t lie!

 

Looking Ahead – Should CRG Games Expand Beyond Magic?

As CRG Games continues to grow, I've started thinking more about what the store could look like in the years ahead.

Magic: The Gathering has always been the foundation of the business, and I have no intention of moving away from it. Expanding our selection of Magic packs will remain a priority.

That said, I've been considering whether there might be an opportunity to offer products from other games as well.

I'd be interested in hearing what you think. Judging from search history alone, Pokémon ranks high on the list!

As we approach the end of 2026, I'm encouraged by how much CRG Games has grown and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Running the store as a one-person operation means there's always something to improve, whether it's inventory selection, pricing, packaging, or the overall shopping experience. I genuinely enjoy the process of building the business and finding new ways to make it better.

November should be an exciting month, and I look forward to sharing more as these projects come together.
